Finance & Fundraising is one of our most important and productive teams. This team is in charge of managing and collecting our money! Without a stable and efficient finance team, it's impossible for Compass to continue to carry out our crucial civic engagement and education iniatives.

We're pleased to offer a variety of volunteer-based positions in our Finance & Fundraising Department. To qualify, you must be in high school or have graduated, have a background in either fundraising or finance, and be under 24 to align with our for-youth, by-youth vision. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis by Compass' Vice President of Finance and Fundraising.

Research grants that support missions relating to our organization

Draft and edit fundraising proposals

Work closely with the VP of Finance to track and manage grants and accounts
Fundraising Director:

Research and figure out logistics for fundraisers

Work with chapters on outreach to expand fundraising capacity

Outreach to corporations and business for fundraising purposes
Compliance Director

Work closely with the VP of Finance to manage budgets, accounts, and finances

Keep track of 501c3 documents and accounts

Ensures compliance with 501(c)(3) status and work closely with the CEO on this.
